Editorial standards
How we make a useful guide
Evidence, clear limits, and respect for your judgment come first.
Research is not testing
Our launch articles are research-based guides. We link to sources and distinguish published facts from our own shopping criteria. A photograph, a manufacturer’s claim, or someone else’s test is not a Fifty Wise test. We will only describe first-hand testing when we can explain what was tested and how.
Sources and dates
We favor official specifications, policies, professional organizations, and clearly described independent research. Manufacturer and industry material can explain a product or term, but does not by itself prove superiority. Source-check dates identify when information was verified; current prices and policies should be confirmed before buying. Our launch collection uses assigned editorial archive dates on story cards to organize the reading sequence. These are not historical publication dates. Each article separately states its actual first publication date. Feed and search-engine publication dates follow the displayed editorial archive date; modification metadata retains the actual content date.
AI assistance and authorship
AI assists with research, drafting, and production of this launch edition. Fifty Wise Editorial identifies the publication, not a fictitious expert or interviewer. These articles must not be read as evidence of a personal product experience. No specialist medical review is implied unless a real reviewer and their role are stated.
Health and safety boundaries
Wellness and beauty coverage addresses general consumer choices. It does not diagnose, prescribe treatment, or promise health results. Articles requiring specialist assessment of medical efficacy remain outside our launch edition until that review is available.
Images and commercial relationships
Stock photographs illustrate a subject; they are not evidence of a test or an endorsement by the pictured person. Image credits link to their source. Commercial relationships must be clearly identified in the relevant article, as described in our disclosure policy.
Corrections
We welcome corrections at hello@fiftywise.com. Include the article URL and the specific claim. When a material correction is made, the article should explain what changed and when.
